WOMAN ARRESTED AFTER BRINGING A CHARCUTERIE BOARD TO JURY DUTY MARBLE RIDGE, CO — Jenna Halloway, 35, was arrested Tuesday after court officers say she carried a fully assembled charcuterie board into the jury box and began serving fellow jurors during opening statements. Deputies say the 24-inch walnut board was smuggled past the courthouse metal detector inside an oversized laptop tote, along with a folding stand and a small covered bowl of cornichons. Court staff say the setup escalated quickly: She unfolded the board across two seats and arranged it by cheese firmness The spread included $84 of prosciutto, three cheeses, honeycomb, and candied pecans She passed a plate down the row during the prosecution's opening remarks A second juror was caught holding a cloth napkin she had provided, monogrammed She had labeled each cheese with a tiny handwritten flag on a toothpick When asked to stop, she offered the bailiff "a small plate, just to try the manchego" Other jurors reportedly went completely silent as the unmistakable smell of aged gouda spread across the courtroom. "I have removed weapons, phones, and one live rooster from this courthouse," said Deputy Court Officer Lyle Brennaman, a 23-year veteran of the county.
