Witnesses say Beltran, wearing a black tank top and a small gold cross necklace, calmly told officers she had "simply followed his exact playbook" and clawed back $14,300, leaving exactly $300 extra "for Nana's emotional damages." According to the police report: - Beltran allegedly created three fake personas: a flirty 29-year-old named Brielle, a confused elderly widow named Pearl, and a Geek Squad technician named "Greg from Best Buy" - She reportedly used the scammer's real number against him and convinced him over five separate calls that his "iCloud was compromised" and needed to be paid in Apple gift cards via Zelle - A bank teller, identified only as Marcus from Regions, told reporters Beltran came in weekly to deposit recovered funds while saying "this one is for Nana, this one is also for Nana" - Beltran allegedly kept a color-coded spreadsheet titled "JUSTICE LEDGER" tracking every dollar she pulled back from the scammer - Officers recovered three burner phones, a wig in a Target bag, and a handwritten note in Beltran's purse that read "Nana cried for two days, your turn" Sergeant Reggie Calhoun, a 27-year veteran of the Davidson County Sheriff's Office, addressed reporters at the scene.
