FLORIDA MAN ARRESTED AFTER TRYING TO UNCLOG A WALMART TOILET WITH A LIVE ALLIGATOR, CALLING IT "NATURE'S PLUNGER" OCALA, FL — A Florida man was arrested after police say he carried a live four-foot alligator into a Walmart restroom and attempted to use it to unclog a backed-up toilet because he believed "they're built for swamp work." According to investigators, 52-year-old Randy McCall entered the restroom carrying the reptile under one arm before asking an employee if the store had "an alligator-friendly maintenance policy." Witnesses said McCall gently lowered the alligator toward the toilet bowl while assuring horrified shoppers, "Relax, he's done this before." Employees immediately evacuated the restroom and called police after the gator reportedly hissed, slapped its tail against the stall door, and refused to cooperate. When officers arrived, McCall allegedly explained that "if anyone knows plumbing, it's an animal that lives in water." Police safely removed the alligator with help from wildlife officers before arresting McCall on charges including disorderly conduct, trespassing, and unlawful handling of wildlife. A Walmart spokesperson later confirmed the toilet was eventually unclogged by an actual plumber in less than five minutes.
