Crew members say Baskette approached the entertainment director twice asking to host an "open mic," was told no both times, then proceeded to set up anyway while the director was at dinner. Baskette allegedly taped a homemade "TALENT SHOW TONIGHT — ALL WELCOME" sign to the podium herself She reportedly recruited 47 passengers to sign up using a legal pad she brought from her cabin Crew say she refused three separate requests to wrap up, citing "momentum" Witnesses say she personally performed four songs when acts failed to show, including a full rendition of a wedding ballad Security was eventually called after she began "encoring" a magician against his will Fellow passengers described the show as "surprisingly well-run" despite the chaos surrounding it. "In 11 years of cruise security I've never had to shut down someone else's variety show," said onboard security officer Daniel Reyes. The handwritten sign-up sheet was reportedly unavailable for comment, currently held by guest services. She ran the show till the mic went dead, now she's blacklisted from the buffet instead.
