WOMAN KICKED OFF CRUISE FOR HOARDING EVERY POOL FLOAT ON THE SHIP Cozumel, Mexico — Sandra Whitcombe, 52, was escorted off a Carnival cruise ship and banned from rebooking after crew say she systematically collected every pool float on the ship, over thirty in total, and stacked them along the railing near her lounge chair, leaving nothing for other passengers during peak pool hours. Crew say Whitcombe began by grabbing a few extra floats on day one, then expanded her collection daily until she had claimed the ship's entire inventory, including flamingos, unicorns, and pizza slices. Whitcombe allegedly woke at 5:30 a.m. daily specifically to collect floats before other passengers arrived at the pool Witnesses say she stacked the floats in a towering pile that blocked a section of walkway She reportedly told a crew member she was "just really passionate about floats" Staff say at least a dozen families complained they couldn't find a single float for their children Security intervened after a dispute broke out over a flamingo float she refused to share Fellow passengers described the float pile as "genuinely impressive" despite the inconvenience it caused. "In 14 years working cruise security, I've never had to confiscate an entire float inventory from one guest," said onboard security officer Felix Marrero. The flamingo float itself was reportedly unavailable for comment, currently redistributed to the pool deck. She claimed them all without a care, now her cruising days aren't anywhere.
