WOMAN ARRESTED AFTER LEAVING 200 GOOGLE REVIEWS FOR HER EX-BOYFRIEND'S BARBERSHOP FROM 200 DIFFERENT NAMES TAMPA, FLORIDA — Devon Alcaraz, 27, was arrested Tuesday after investigators traced 200 fake one-star reviews on her ex-boyfriend's barbershop back to a single device, each posted under a different fabricated name. She allegedly posted all 200 reviews from 200 different fabricated names Every review was one star and mentioned a haircut she never received Investigators traced the reviews to a single IP address within 48 hours The shop's booking calendar reportedly dropped 60 percent that week Alcaraz reportedly used a random name generator website for each account "I've traced fake reviews before, usually a dozen," said Detective Wayne Castellano. "Two hundred fabricated names complaining about a haircut that never happened is a first." The random name generator history, pulled from her browser, reportedly declined to comment.
