MAN ARRESTED IN NATIONAL PARK AFTER CHASING TOURISTS IN A HOMEMADE BISON COSTUME FOR TWO HOURS JACKSON HOLE, WY — Colton Braswell, 36, was arrested at a national park after spending nearly two hours chasing tourists across an open meadow in a homemade bison costume while yelling "now you know how it feels." Rangers said Braswell had constructed the costume from a thrifted fur coat and foam horns, timing his appearance to a peak-hour shuttle drop-off near the valley overlook. Charged at three separate tour groups on all fours, snorting for effect Wore foam horns that repeatedly caught on nearby split-rail fencing Told a ranger he was "raising awareness about real bison harassment" through mockery Chased one family back into their rental car, dragging fur across the hood Was still in costume, breathing heavily, when rangers finally caught up to him Witnesses said several tourists initially screamed and scattered before realizing the "bison" was a man in a fur coat rather than an actual wild animal. "In twenty-one years as a ranger I've dealt with real bison charging tourists who got too close for photos, but never a grown man in a homemade costume doing the exact same thing on purpose," said park ranger Dale Kowalski, 49, walking him back to the truck. He wore the fur and charged the herd of tourists instead, got walked to the truck with horns still on his head.
