WOMAN PAINTS HER BOYFRIEND'S LIFTED TRUCK PINK OVERNIGHT ABILENE, TEXAS — Cody Ray Mitchell walked outside on Saturday morning and dropped his coffee. His jacked-up black pickup truck was now bubblegum pink. Wheels included. His girlfriend had stayed up all night with eight cans of spray paint and a stencil kit after Cody spent their anniversary at a monster truck rally with his buddies. She had also added hearts to the doors and a giant butterfly across the hood. His truck nuts had been painted glitter purple. Cody's friends arrived to pick him up for fishing. They took photos for twenty minutes before saying anything. Cody called police. Officers said since the couple shares an address, it was a domestic property dispute. She was cited. Cody says the paint job will cost $6,000 to fix. He has been driving it to work anyway. He says it gets great reactions.
