Investigators say Nakashima worked methodically through each platform, saving the change and confirming it posted before moving to the next site, including LinkedIn, where the setting had no bearing on his professional profile at all. Nakashima allegedly completed all four changes within roughly fifteen minutes using saved passwords Witnesses say she also attempted to access his TikTok but was blocked by two-factor authentication He reportedly didn't notice the changes for two full days until a coworker mentioned his LinkedIn status Friends say the Facebook and Instagram changes triggered automatic notifications to his entire friend list Police were called after he traced the login activity back to a device linked to her account Friends described the LinkedIn change specifically as "the most confusing part" given its total irrelevance to his career. "In 8 years working unauthorized access cases, I've never seen someone hit four platforms in one sitting," said Fresno PD Officer Marisol Trevino.
